What We Do
“As you go, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
-Matthew 28:19-20
We are a church with a deep love for Jesus, a thirst for His Word, and a passion for the spread of His Gospel. We desire to see more churches planted across Middle Georgia and the world.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to help people live in light of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We believe the gospel is more than the ABCs of the Christian life, it is the A - Z, informing every area of our life. As we live in light of the gospel of Jesus Christ our lives are transformed. As we help others live in light of the gospel, their lives are transformed.
OUR VISION
We dream of seeing the gospel transform everything within our reach - ourselves, our church, our city and the world! And we believe that God wants to use us to do just that.
We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is indeed transformative. Therefore, we believe that as we share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of our city, our city will be transformed and made new, but not just our city, the world!
OUR STRATEGY
We believe that we will best fulfill this mission and see this vision come to be as we live as a family of missionary servants, disciples of Jesus making disciples of Jesus.
Believing that our very identities are changed when we believe the good news of Jesus Christ, we strive to live as his people in every area of our lives.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
— II Corinthians 5:17-21
